My wife. Best decision I ever made.
What gets you excited about life?
Being a dad. Nothing better than throwing a ball around with the kids. They think I’m awesome.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Measure twice, cut once.
What is your proudest achievement?
Beating my wife in Trivial Pursuit. It’s only happened once.
How do you define success?
I like John Wooden’s definition: “Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming.”
What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
Never play with fireworks near dry fields. I learned that when I was 11 years old. Applies in life and investing.
What was the best book you’ve read and why?
I recently read “7 Habits for Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey again. Great application to important, fundamental principles of life.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, Chris helps his clients organize and prioritize their financial and estate planning needs. He develops strategies to help them towards accomplishing their most important objectives. Most recently, Chris worked as a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with The Cypress group at Integrated Wealth Management. Before Integrated Wealth Management, Chris worked as Vice President and Financial Advisor with the Cypress Group at Morgan Stanley for six years and Merrill Lynch. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Brigham Young University. Chris’ community involvement includes serving on the board and in volunteer work with several nonprofit organizations. He is also very active in the Boy Scouts of America and serves in his church. Chris speaks fluent Portuguese and is an avid sports fan. Chris and his wife stay busy raising their six children. Chris enjoys running, playing racquetball and Cross-Fit.
